What we mean by custom (and what we don’t)

Custom at PVAF means we build to your dimensions and combine styles and colors, then fabricate and install the finished fence. It does not mean we mill raw PVC. We are an installer, custom fabricator, and wholesaler, so material comes to us finished and gets shaped to your job.

The menu is concrete: custom heights, widths, and proportions; combo or stepped panels, like a solid privacy body under a picket or lattice top; mixed colors across sections; a matching gate in the same color; and wall-topper sizing for an existing wall. We do not do motorized gates or raw-material production, and acrylic panels are a build of their own.

Heights and style combos stock lines don’t carry

Standard vinyl runs about 2 to 8 ft. We build taller than that and combine a solid privacy body with a picket or lattice top when a flat panel won’t do. Say you want 7 ft along one property line and 8 ft where you need more screening, that gets built as one continuous run, not two fences pushed together.

Taller and custom panels carry a metal insert in the rail, vinyl outside and metal within, which is how a non-standard height stays rigid in wind. The styles are inputs you can mix; each one carries its own detail.

Built to your yard: slopes, corners, and transitions

On a sloped or uneven yard we either rack the fence so the rails and pickets follow the grade with the posts kept plumb, or step it in level sections that stair down the hill.

Which one fits depends on how steep the ground runs and the look you want, and we make that call on site with you. Corners, odd layouts, and transitions between two styles are shaped in place by the crew that fabricates the panels. Nothing arrives as a box of parts to sort out on a weekend.

Colors, matching gates, and a clear acrylic option

Pick any color the line carries, switch colors by section, or coordinate a gate in the same style, all built to match the run. The full swatch story belongs to the vinyl color palette, so the short version here is that color is one more thing you spec.

A matching gate is built on a metal frame with a vinyl finish, and wall-topper sections sit on a wall you already have. For a light, modern accent, a vinyl-and-acrylic option works clear acrylic into the panel, and a vinyl fence with acrylic is its own build.

What shapes the cost of a custom fence

A custom fence is priced from the work it takes, not a sticker per foot. Height, how complex the combo or stepped design gets, the site and its slope, whether an old fence has to come out, gates and accessories, your color and material choice, and the run length all move the number.

Custom is a way of working, not a separate product line. The same measuring, cutting and finishing goes into everything we put up in vinyl and in aluminum. Our crew has been building fence here since 2018.
